About me
I began designing and making jewellery in my spare time, having been
encouraged by my grandmother who was a silversmith for many years.
I am inspired by bold and abstract designs and have a special interest in
texturing metals to produce unique and distinctive pieces. I use a wide
range of gemstones, including fossils, each adding a splash of colour and
the occasional story to a piece.
I have a background in international development, which has inspired much
of my design work; from spear-shaped earrings to the use of African beads
collected from my travels. I now work in public relations; helping companies,
non-profits and local artists to build and communicate their reputation.
I am lucky to spend one day per week in my studio, designing and creating jewellery.
